Shipment listing
The Shipment page in QueenBees provides a comprehensive overview of all your upcoming and past shipments, grouped by day. This powerful tool is designed to help you stay organized, manage your shipping schedule, and ensure that every order is fulfilled on time and none is forgotten.
This page is accessible to users with roles such as Owner, Admin and Logistic, ensuring that your logistics team has the information they need to manage shipments effectively.
Navigating the Shipments page
You can access the shipment management page by navigating to Left menu > Orders > Shipments.
The page displays a chronological list of days with scheduled shipments. Each day’s card provides a summary of the shipments for that day, including the total number of queens and orders.

Filtering and searching Shipments
To help you quickly find the information you need, the Shipments page includes several powerful filtering and search options:

Search by query: Use the search bar to find shipments by client name or order number. The search is designed to be flexible, allowing you to quickly locate specific orders. A tooltip provides a hint on what fields are searched.
Filter by confirmation status: You can filter shipments based on whether the client has confirmed the order. The options are:
- Unconfirmed: Show only shipments for orders that have not yet been confirmed by the client.
- Confirmed: Display shipments for orders that the client has confirmed.
Filter by queen type: narrow down the list of shipments by the type of queen being shipped. This is particularly useful for planning your shipping batches. The available queen types include:
- Virgin queens
- Naturally mated queens
- Artificially inseminated queens
- Artificially inseminated queens with confirmed laying
- Nucleus colonies
Filter by completion status: toggle the switch to view either pending or completed shipments.
- Pending (switch off): Shows all shipments that have not yet been marked as completed. This is the default view.
- Completed (switch on): Displays all shipments that have been successfully fulfilled.
Any combination of these filters can be used to refine your view and focus on the specific shipments you need to manage.
Daily shipment details
Each day in the shipment list is presented as a collapsible card. Clicking on a day’s card expands it to show the individual shipments scheduled for that day.

For each shipment, you can see key details at a glance:
- Client data: The name of the customer receiving the shipment.
- Queen and product Summary: A summary of the queens and other products included in the shipment.
- Shipping method: The selected method of delivery.
- Order value: The total value of the order.
- Confirmation status: An icon indicating whether the order has been confirmed by the client.
- Other icons: Additional icons may indicate special handling instructions or notes associated with the shipment.
Proposing a New Date
If you need to reschedule a shipment, you can use the “Propose a new date” feature. This opens a modal where you can select a new shipping date and notify the client of the change. This is useful for managing unexpected delays or accommodating client requests.

Managing individual shipments
From the daily shipment list, you can perform several actions on individual shipments:
- View order details: Click on the order to navigate to the full order details page.
- Confirm: If the order is unconfirmed, you can mark it as confirmed directly from the shipment list.
- Mark as prepared/completed: Once a shipment has been sent, you can mark it as completed to move it to the “Completed” list.
Practical use cases
Confirming beforehand
Some orders might be placed months in advance. Use the Confirmation status filter to identify unconfirmed orders and reach out to clients to confirm their shipping dates when you’re close to filling order.
Preparing queen types ahead
If you ship different types of queens on different days, you can use the Queen Type filter to review orders quantity. For example, you can view all shipments containing “Artificially inseminated queens” scheduled for the upcoming weeks to plan your insemination and preparation schedule accordingly.
Reviewing past shipments
By toggling the Completed switch, you can review your shipping history. This is useful for end-of-month reporting, analyzing shipping volumes, or investigating any past delivery issues.
Reviewing shipments without shipping date
You can quickly find all shipments not yet scheduled in a space at top of the list. This helps ensure that no orders are left without a shipping date, allowing you to follow up with clients as needed.
